Johnny Ray's Sinatra Sunday brunches are back!...
"Sinatra favorites ~ plus songs we think he would have enjoyed singing...his way"  

Frank Sinatra is arguably the first pop icon of the 20th century and his unique style and longevity made him a cultural phenomenon who will be admired by millions for generations to come.  In 1960 Sinatra teamed up with his buddies, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, and Peter Lawford, a.k.a. "The Rat Pack" and rocked the showroom at The Sands Hotel in Las Vegas.  The strip has been trying to recapture there magic ever since.

Boston's Johnny Ray broke onto the Las Vegas music scene in the early 2000s and within a short time he was a stand out at The Monte Carlo Resort Casino.  As the resident entertainer at Houdini's Lounge he payed homage nightly to some of the greatest singers in the biz most notably, Sinatra. 

"What amazes me about Vegas", says Johnny, "is how many young people really embrace Sinatra and his genre of music.  The entertainment directors in Las Vegas hire me for a more seasoned upscale audience but typically I find the lounges filled with people in there early twenties just eating it up.  It's getting harder and harder for people to find there way through the maze of what we call the"ultra lounge" scene on the strip so when they come across an act that has that old school Vegas vibe they really appreciate it.  As for taking his show on the road, "We have some great things happening this winter and spring with gigs in Vegas, Arizona, and South Florida but I'm always happy when I'm able to bring the brunch series home to the Boston area too.  Lets just say we're cooking up a great mix of music, food, and fun and we try to make it "easy like Sunday morning." 

Johnny will be performing his Sinatra Sunday Brunches in the Boston area this summer exclusively for the members of
The Dolphin Yacht Club in Marblehead on the following Sunday's:

June 27th, July 18th, August 8th, and September 12th.
